I was a governor for many years and was instrumental in putting in place the yearly calendar event, originally called the Larry Adler Memorial Lecture series, which became the Sydney Institute dinner. It continues to this very day and has over a thousand people. It is a calendar event.

Lyndi was on the board and then became Chairman. She was a founder of the Gold Dinner, and during Lyndi's tenure as Chairman the Gold Dinner was the first charity in Sydney to raise over $1 million in one night. A remarkable achievement at the time and still is now.
